Monday Musings of Pastor Ron - October 5, 2026

Friends,

I am looking forward with great anticipation to our Anniversary celebration this Sunday. There are so many reasons to be excited: 28 years of successful ministry in West Houston, a growing congregation (in both numbers and in our spiritual lives), another great meal (we always - there is that word again - eat well). But the thing I am most excited about is our Youth. Worship this Sunday will be led entirely by our Youth.

Join us this Sunday for a powerful witness to the next generation of Houston Trinity. They have prepared and organized a very meaningful worship experience for each of us. Join us as we raise our voices to the honor and glory of God. Join us as we hear the voices of our youth provide their testimony and witness to their relationship with Jesus Christ and each other.

We live in a world where youth are often lost, set aside or ignored because the world sees them as nothing more than another consumer or piece of statistical data. But God sees them as the next generation of believers. The next generation of followers. The next generation of doers. Let's make this Sunday a time to affirm them in their belief, affirm them in their decision to be a follower of Jesus, affirm them in their desire to do the will of God.

A special thank you to Joshua Abril, Blessings Ignacio and the rest of the planning team for your hard work in preparing this Anniversary worship service. I am excited!

Set your alarms. Have someone remind you. Mark your calendar. Don't miss this Worship Service. It will have a powerful impact on your life and the life of this congregation.

God bless you. See you Sunday
